Our mission is to put unwanted books into the hands of those who want them.
Give to us, not Uncle Sam - all donations are tax deductable.

* Volunteers
* Copy paper (any color)
* Pallet Racks (ABSOLUTELY NO PALLETS, PLEASE!)
* Cans of soda or bottled water (for our volunteers)
* Children's books
* 1" x 8" x 6' lumber
* Insulation
* Dictionaries
* Gift certificates to Home Depot, Staples, Gas Stations, etc.
* Empty printer cartridges (any kind)
* Money (see below)

The Book Thing of Baltimore, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), IRS designation, non-profit. We believe that no one should be deprived of books for any reason. We do not actively solicit financial donations
from anyone. We also try to separate the distribution of books from the fiscal obligations of an
operating business non-profit or not. To this end, if you able and willing to donate to us, we would be happy to accept, but, there is no obligation to give and all are welcome to the books we distribute.
